This page describes how AML KONTROL LLC sends text messages (SMS), the four categories of messages we may send, how to opt in to each, and how to stop receiving them at any time. Opting in to SMS is always voluntary and is never a requirement for using the MSB Control platform.

3. How to Opt In

3A. Account Notifications, Delivery Notifications & Events

Opting in is completely optional. You can use MSB Control fully without receiving any of these text messages. To opt in, take one of the following explicit actions after your account has been created:

  • In-platform — Go to Account → Notification Preferences, check "Enable SMS notifications", and save. You will receive a confirmation text asking you to reply YES to activate.
  • Email invitation — Your compliance officer may send an email with a unique opt-in link. Clicking that link and confirming your phone number constitutes your opt-in.

Your opt-in is recorded with a timestamp and is separate from your account registration.

3B. Marketing Messages

Marketing SMS requires a separate, explicit opt-in independent of any other consent. You will never receive promotional messages unless you specifically request them. To opt in to marketing messages:

  • In-platform — Go to Account → Notification Preferences and check "Receive SMS product updates and offers". This checkbox is unchecked by default and is separate from your general SMS opt-in.
  • Keyword — Text JOIN UPDATES to our short code. You will receive a confirmation message.

Declining marketing SMS has no effect on your platform access or any other message category.

4. How to Opt Out (STOP)

You may stop any or all SMS messages at any time:

  • Reply STOP — Text STOP to any message from AML KONTROL LLC to unsubscribe from all message categories. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages (except legally required responses).
  • Per-category opt-out — Go to Account → Notification Preferences to disable individual message categories while keeping others active.
  • Email request — Email admin@msbcontrol.com with subject "SMS Opt-Out Request" and the mobile number to be removed.

To re-enable any category after opting out, follow the opt-in steps in Section 3.
